Tribute to 9-11

"I was trying to memorialize all of the events of Sept. 11 in one and came up with this combination of two towers representing NYC, one tower in the shape of a pentagon (for Washington, DC) and one tower in the shape of a keystone (for Pennsylvania).

Draped around the towers is the American flag. I carved this from a single piece of Basswood and used colored stains and polyacrylic finish."
