Sam Jackson
Sam saved up money to take his Spring Break vacation in New York City. See Ground Zero and beyond from his perspective. [ GO ]

Super huge thanks to my cousin Bobby for these shots from September. I can't imagine what it must have been like to work the pit. Click on the thumnail images for a closer look.

"Ash Found in My Front Yard From the WTC,
Some 15 Miles Away!"

controlalpha@aol.com writes: Here's a photo of ash found in my front yard in Manhattan Beach approximately 15 miles from the World Trade Center. It is apparently part of the WTC Directory."I found it the next morning in the front yard of my home. I zoomed in on it to try to make out the printing, on the bottom you can make out a company directory listing from 2 World Trade Center. I tried to glean any info from it but the Two World Trade is the only thing I can get off it. The original size is about 3"x1.5""
