Welcome to the WEBSITE GRAVEYARD

The sites below have been placed into the JeanAlan Design Website Graveyard for a variety of reasons. Some sites have simply went out of business along with their brick and mortar establishments. Some websites were dot.coms gone bust while others simply fell prey to lack of marketing dollars. Some of my designs experienced large corporate mergers while others were forced to down-size! Understand that the website graveyard is not all about Chapter 11. Some websites got caught up in corporate infighting and never even live launched! But the most deadly of them all were the websites which have been passed onto more "cost-effective" (and less experienced) developers. Those are the kind of people who simply swap out your company name in the footer and call it their own design and development. You know who you are....

So, some sites have landed in the graveyard because they are now being maintained "in-house". Unfortunately "in-house" can sometimes mean that the graphic designer/admin assistant/payroll coordinator is now updating the site and it looks NOTHING like what I set forth in the original design. So enjoy my personal wayback machine and walk down memory lane.

Regardless of their ending - when you've been designing websites for over 10 years, you see allot of people and businesses come and go. Unfortunately so does your online portfolio! I created the website graveyard to pay homage to the pixels I spent hours upon hours programming and to thank some of the amazing clients I have been able to work with throughout the years!
