The Meaning Of Success

In 1997, JeanAlan Design first opened its doors in New York City. Originally, it was the creative outlet for two young Art Directors who craved a way to freely express their raw talent in the big city.

In 1999, JAD relocated to Virginia Beach, Virginia. Experiencing exponential growth, the company quickly grew to 9 people by expanding into the local cities of Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Hampton, Portsmouth and Williamsburg. After the events of 9/11, the economic climate forced JAD to rethink the business. By focusing less on traditional print media and more on custom website development, JAD was able to maintain success in a highly competitive marketplace.

In February of 2009, JeanAlan Design relocated to Jacksonville, Florida. The Sunshine State has offered new opportunities to work with exciting Northern Florida businesses such as: Safe Animal Shelter, the Clay County Humane Society, Bold City Brewery of Jacksonville, The Cyprian Center for Expressive Arts and St. Cyprians' Church of St. Augustine, and Annunciation Catholic School of Middleburg, FL.

One key component has remained consistent in JAD over the years, and that is the tireless efforts of the sole creative, Donna J. Conversano. Donna brings years of design knowledge to JeanAlan Design from having sharpened her skill set in diverse sectors of the graphic design and web industry. These include: package design, greeting cards, international marketing, a dot com start-up and even the entertainment cruise industry. Donna currently holds a BFA in Graphic Design from New York Institute of Technology and is a classically trained fine artist who also enjoys painting and photography.
