Think of the difference you can make
in 2011 - in the life of even one animal
Dear Friend,
The holiday season is upon us. Soon you'll be hustling through the stores in search of that perfect gift and sharing Christmas dinner with your loved ones. As you ring in the New Year, like every one before, you'll relive the events of 2010 that made it a year to remember.
Like you, we at the Clay County Humane Society look back at the past year with
a variety of emotions - gratitude, humility and pride. This year the Society celebrates 32 years of caring for our community's animals through our many valuable programs. To date, we have sterilized over 70,000 animals and have provided low cost veterinary care to the countless others. Our staff and volunteers have returned hundreds of orphaned or injured wildlife patients to their natural habitats. We have donated thousands of dollars in services and medications to service dog organizations, local rescue groups, and those that have found themselves simply "down on their luck." Our humane education program and annual poster contest reaches hundreds of children each year providing a foundation for a future of humane attitudes.
Find Out How You Can Help >>>
You can help preserve these very important programs. We rely on your generous contributions to continue our mission. Every cent of your donation will be put to work for the animals - twenty dollars funds a humane education presentation; fifty dollars provides temporary food and shelter for an injured bird of prey: one hundred dollars pays for veterinary care for those that could not afford it otherwise. Rest assured, your tax deductible gift will touch hundreds of lives - both two and four-legged. As a token of our thanks for your kind donation, we will place a commemorative ornament with your name on our Christmas tree to be displayed at our clinic so that all may know of your generosity this holiday season.
As always, we thank you, our caring supporters for being there. The holiday season is a time to remember the many special friends who cared and shared, not just with much needed contributions, but also with their hearts. We wish you peace this holiday season and all year through.
